In its second year of consecutive appearances at the FIFA Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi, T.P. Mazembe has managed the unthinkable. It reached the final after two fine victories over Pachuca of Mexico (1-0) and International of Brazil (2-0).
It will face Inter Milan in the final on Saturday the 18th of December 2010.
This is the firstbtime that an African side reach the Final of the Club World Cup and the first ever final not to feature a European versus a South American winner

FIFA have suspended Congolese international Trésor Mputu Mabi - captain of continental champions TP Mazembe – from local and international events for a period of 12 months.
